Culture Night at Ranelagh Arts

For Culture Night on Friday 22nd of September we will run a Literary walk led by Adrian Le Harivel, Curator and historian at the National Gallery of Ireland.

The walk will feature - amongst other sites of interest,

  • Antonin Artaud’s journey in Dublin.

  • Donnybrook Police Station,

  • Milltown Jesuits College and

  • ending in Ranelagh Arts

The walk:

  • When: 6pm Friday 22nd of September

  • Where: Meet at The Big Tree, beside Fanagans, Main Street, Donnybrook,

  • Ending in Ranelagh Arts at approximately 7pm

Reception at Ranealgh Arts

  • 7pm: Ranelagh Arts will host a reception and conversation with dramaturg Karin McCully about Artaud, The Theatre of Cruelty and its relevance to theatre today.

People are welcome to join us for one or both aspects of the evening. The events are free but please book tickets to allow us to manage numbers. Ranelagh Arts is a volunteer-run charity supporting the arts, all donations are welcome.
